Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 18, 2026
This policy explains how Zypher (“the bot,” “we,” or “our”) may handle information when you invite or use Zypher in a Discord server or visit this website.
1. Information we may process
- Discord identifiers: server (guild), user, role, and channel IDs needed to configure and operate bot features.
- Server settings: anti-nuke thresholds, selected punishments, whitelist and bypass entries, log-channel settings, and AutoMod configuration managed through commands.
- Security and diagnostic data: supported moderation or security event details and error information needed to operate, troubleshoot, and improve reliability.
- Website data: this static website does not intentionally request account registration or payment information. Your hosting provider may collect standard server logs.
The exact information processed depends on which features server administrators enable and how the bot is configured. Discord itself also processes information under its own policies.
2. How information is used
Information may be used to provide requested bot features, enforce configured security settings, send logs to a server's designated channel, maintain settings, diagnose failures, and protect the bot from abuse.
3. Storage and retention
Bot configuration may be stored in local JSON files on the bot host. Data may remain until it is changed or deleted by an authorized administrator, removed through an available bot feature, or cleared when the bot is uninstalled or its storage is reset. Operational logs may be retained for as long as needed for troubleshooting and security, depending on the hosting setup. Do not assume that removing the bot automatically deletes every backup or host log.
4. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. Data may be handled by Discord, the bot's hosting provider, or service providers needed to run the bot. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect users, the service, or its security.
5. Access and deletion requests
Server administrators can remove the bot and delete or change supported configuration through available commands or by resetting the bot's stored data. For questions or deletion requests, contact the bot owner through the support server linked on the main website. A request may require enough information to identify the relevant server or data; do not send passwords or bot tokens.
6. Children
Zypher is a Discord server-management tool and is not designed to knowingly collect information directly from children through this website.
7. Security
Reasonable steps may be taken to protect stored configuration, but no online service or hosting environment can guarantee absolute security. Server owners should restrict access to hosting files and bot permissions.
8. Changes
This policy may be updated as the bot or its data practices change. The “Last updated” date above will be revised when material changes are made.
9. Contact
For privacy questions, use the support/contact link provided on the main Zypher website. Replace the site's placeholder support link with a monitored contact before publishing.
