LEGAL / TERMS

Terms of Service

By inviting or using Zypher, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the bot or website.

1. The service

Zypher provides configurable Discord server security and moderation utilities. Features may change, be unavailable, or be discontinued. Some actions require correct Discord permissions, role hierarchy, and API availability.

2. No guarantee of protection

Zypher is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. It cannot guarantee prevention of raids, destructive actions, spam, data loss, or service interruptions. Keep secure backups, limit administrator permissions, and test settings in a private server.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Zypher to violate laws, abuse Discord, harass people, bypass platform safeguards, or interfere with other users or services. You are responsible for your server configuration, permissions, and the actions taken by your staff.

4. Permissions and administrator responsibility

Only grant permissions needed for the features you use. Server administrators are responsible for choosing thresholds, punishments, trusted users, bypass roles, and log destinations. Misconfiguration may cause unwanted moderation actions or leave gaps in protection.

5. Availability and changes

We may update, suspend, limit, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We may revise these terms by updating the date above.

6. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the bot owner is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including server disruption, lost data, or missed moderation events, arising from use or inability to use the service.

7. Third-party services

Zypher relies on Discord and may rely on third-party hosting. Those services are governed by their own terms and policies. We do not control their availability or policies.

8. Contact

For support, use the support link configured on the main Zypher website. These template terms should be reviewed and adapted to the actual operator, jurisdiction, and service before public launch.
